Nick and John are local Erie County residents who recognized the need for a practical solution to the glass recycling problem. In February of 2019, they began researching and developing a business system to address the removal of glass containers from many of the county's recycling programs. This led to the formation of Bayfront Glass, LLC.

Nick has over 20 years of experience developing & delivering innovative multi-sector projects and programs including 14 years living and working overseas with USAID and the US Peace Corps. He returned to his hometown of Edinboro in 2015, and began consulting services to research and write contract proposals for US Government overseas contracts. He is now focusing full-time on building Bayfront Glass into a "best practice" company in the glass recycling industry.

John was Manager of Outreach at Penn State Behrend Innovation Commons where he coordinated local entrepreneurs and industry in the development of new products and research in additive manufacturing providing advice on the development and initial growth of a product. He is focusing his efforts on building Quality Assurance systems and Lean Manufacturing at Bayfront Glass to exceed industry standards.
